Member Information Night Port Macquarie - Update

The Port Macquarie Member Information Night was held last Tuesday, 17th June at Panthers Port Macquarie and was attended by over 30 people from 16 Member businesses.

Presentations from SafeWork NSW and Business Partners, Capricorn and MTAA Super as well as MTA NSW, were well received. Attendees raised questions regarding the Takata Air Bag Recall, Form 2 requirement (clarification of only listed parts not all parts), licencing, training and apprenticeships.

Special recognition was given to our long standing Members who were present on the night: Mavin Truck Centre, Rock Motorcycles and Sheathers Machinery whom have over 100 years of combined membership. MTA NSW would like to thank you for your loyalty and support.

Overall the night was a success, with most attendees staying back after the session had ended to talk to the presenters and MTA NSW Managers. Feedback from attendees was very positive - 85% rated the event as very good to excellent and commented that they found the event helpful and informative.

 This week Safework NSW will be contacting attendees regarding the small business safety rebate.
