New AIS Notice 34 - Revocation of the Authorised Taxi Inspection Station (ATIS) Scheme




The new AIS Notice 34 – Revocation of the ATIS Scheme’ will take effect from 1st November 2017. The ATIS scheme will cease from midnight 31st October 2017.

From 1 November taxis will no longer be required to be inspected more than once a year and no longer need a ‘Taxi – Inspection Report’. Taxis will only require an annual safety check inspection and be issued
with a safety check inspection report.
